THE GRAPHIC IMPERATIVE!
(Arriba: Imagen de la invitación al evento) Me han invitado a participar próximamente con el cartel: Contra la Violencia a las mujeres" a una exposición internacional de carteles por la paz, la justicia social y el medio ambiente, para mi será un verdadero honor ya que mi papel como creador también ha consistido en apoyar determinadas causas de tipo social. La exhibición será del 15 al 18 de septiembre del 2005 en la Galería Bakalar del Colegio de Arte de Massachusetts, Boston.

The Graphic Imperative! International Posters for Peace, Social Justice and the Environment 1965–2005
Is a select retrospective of 40 years of international sociopolitical posters. Themes include dissent, liberation, racism, sexism, human rights, civil rights, environmental and health concerns, AIDS, war, literacy and tolerance, collectively providing a window to an age of great change. Focussing on the issues of our turbulent times, these 120+ posters endeavor to show the social, political and aesthetic concerns of many cultures in a single exhibition through delineating themes and contrasting political realities.
September 14 – November 11, 2005. Sandra & David Bakalar Gallery, Massachusetts College of Art, 621 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA. Gallery hours: Monday – Friday 10am – 6pm, Saturday 11am – 5 pm. Opening reception: Friday, September 16, 2005, 5 – 7 pm / Free and open to the public
